Aaron Watson

Country Artist Aaron Watson’s 8th album Angels & Outlaws, under his own independent banner of BIG Label Music, was released on April 1. Co-produced by Ray Benson, Aaron Watson, and Sam Seifert, this album is chock full of pure country sounds and proves Aaron’s uncanny knack for writing and mixing songs. A down-home family man from Abilene, TX, Aaron Watson carries more than country songs in his head. He’s full of business savvy and the work ethic to support it. He’s Texas based, but nation bound.

Brooke Ludwick

Independent singer-songwriter Brooke Ludwick is currently promoting her debut album, When The Circus Leaves Town, produced by Jim Reilley.  Hailed by Music Row’s Robert K. Oermann as “stunningly well written, sung with verve and produced magnificently well,” Circus solidifies Ludwick’s reputation as one of Nashville’s freshest songwriters and performers.  Also a well-respected creative director, Ludwick recently launched East Nashville’s Firecracker Studios, a boutique advertising and design shop.

Capitol Nashville

Capitol Records Nashville was the first to establish a country music outpost in Nashville in 1950, and is one of country music’s most prominent imprints, having been named label of the year by Billboard, Radio & Records and Music Row in 2005. The label is part of EMI, the world’s largest independent music company, and is home to a roster of country music legends, emerging artists, and global superstars.

Cory Morrow

Ten years and nine releases into his career, Morrow continues to create great music in the independent Texas spirit for which he has become known.  The road warrior has built a fiercely loyal fan base throughout the region, playing over 150 shows a year.  In recent years, he has won multiple Gruene With Envy Music Awards, and has been featured on Austin City Limits as well as the main stage of the Houston Livestock Show And Rodeo.  His latest album, Vagrants And Kings, is his second release on Sustain Records.

Heidi Newfield

As the former lead singer of Trick Pony, the platinum-selling band that earned four top 20 singles, an ACM Best New Artist award, and an army of fans for their rabble-rousing honky-tonk brand of country music, Heidi Newfield possesses one of the genre’s most distinctive voices.  With the release of her debut solo album on Curb/Asylum Records, produced by Tony Brown and featuring the lead single “Johnny And June,” Heidi’s explosive voice and heartfelt songwriting are showcased in an entirely new way.

International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA)

IEBA is a not-for-profit association formed to professionally promote and develop all forms of entertainment for the public.  This organization strives  to cultivate acquaintanceship and communications among entities who buy and utilize entertainment talent, as well as to circulate information of value to members and the public with the goal of developing more frequent and efficient use of such talents.  IEBA works to develop and maintain liaisons with local, national and international organizations in allied fields and to provide such other related services which promote the advancement of the Association.

This Virginia-born singer/songwriter has made his mark in Nashville as an acclaimed performer and musician.  Known not only for his knack for hit songwriting, but for his compelling and highly entertaining skills on the piano, Phil has achieved a long list of Top 20 hits on country radio, including 9 #1 songs  throughout his career.  Phil is currently promoting his 5th studio album Prayer of A Common Man released under Universal Records South.   Some of Phil’s accolades include two time ASCAP Songwriter of the Year, Billboard Magazine Top New Country Artist, Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year, Music Row Magazine Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and The Academy of Country Music  Top New Male Vocalist of the Year - just to name a few.

Based in Kerrville, Sustain Records is one of Texas’ premiere independent labels.  Committed to releasing music from unique artists and dedicated to working with singers who write songs, Sustain stretches the boundaries of Texas music, country, and southern rock.  Sustain’s roster includes Wade Bowen, Jason Bowen & The Stragglers, Bruce Robison, Cory Morrow, Kinky Friedman, and Drew Kennedy.  The label is distributed in the United States by Universal Music and Video Distribution.

T.J. Martell Foundation

The T.J. Martell Foundation supports innovative research for leukemia, cancer and AIDS.  Throughout the year, the T.J. Martell Foundation engages Nashville’s country music community in unique fundraising events such as Country In The Rockies, the Best Cellars Dinner, Celebrity Cake Decorating and Celebrity Tablescapes, the Steve Cropper Classic, and Celebrity Poker Tournament.  One of the top research centers supported by the T. J. Martell Foundation is the Frances Williams Preston Laboratories at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
