The Cleverlys
Hailing from the Ozarks, the 'family' band consisting of Digger, Miles, Vernon “VD” Dean, Harvey D and cousin Otto are a one-of-a-kind bluegrass group who uses comedy mixed with pop and amazing musicianship to put on a performance you will never forget. You may have watched them perform at Stagecoach, LP Field during CMA Fest, Grand Ole Opry, IBMA, The Station Inn, The Mint in LA or at their very own festival, Cleverlyfest.
Recorded at Stabbin Cabin Records’ home grown studio in the heart of the Ozarks, the atmosphere of their native land blows right through the collection that includes covers of songs like you’ve never heard including “I Gotta Feelin’”, “Angel”, “Billionaire”, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)”, “Walk Like an Egyptian” and “In the Pines/Ain’t No Sunshine”. You’ll be able to listen to their original music as well with songs titled, “Eye of the Cage”, “Born to Be with You”, “Girl With No Pantyline”, “Tennicles”, “Wheel Hoss” and “Intro the Trio”.
Stand-up comedian, Paul Harris, is the creator of this remarkable band and is currently in the midst of working on a scripted pilot for the group that will be shopped for a series in the coming year.
