Christopher Macchio is an internationally acclaimed classical-crossover vocalist renowned for his commanding live television performances on some of the world’s most prestigious stages. His internationally televised appearances include the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, ACF Fiorentina’s Serie A Centennial celebration, the Freedom 250 Grand Prix of Washington, D.C. and the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States. He has also performed at White House state dinners, the Washington National Cathedral, Madison Square Garden, the “Return to Butler” rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and as a cultural centerpiece of the nationally televised America 250 Semiquincentennial celebrations .Macchio has headlined ten consecutive sold-out concerts at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, appeared as a featured soloist with legendary producer David Foster, and performed duets with Grammy Award winners Peabo Bryson and Al Jardine of the Beach Boys. He made his professional debut in the PBS concert special Bell’Aria: Live from Las Vegas and subsequently appeared on FOX, CBS, NBC, ABC, and Italy’s RAI. Expanding his artistry into film and studio recording, he has been featured singing in two major motion pictures—Alejandro Monteverde’s Cabrini and Don Q, starring Armand Assante—and has released two albums, Dolci Momenti and O Holy Night.
A classically trained tenor with a voice of exceptional power and beauty, Macchio studied at the Manhattan School of Music, where he performed the demanding role of Arturo in Vincenzo Bellini’s I Puritani. He returned to the operatic stage in 2023 at Ireland’s National Opera House in Wexford, with further European appearances in Germany and Spain scheduled for 2027.
