NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 16, 2018) -- THE 49th Annual GMA Dove Awards were handed out tonight in the Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. The awards will betelevised on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) on Sunday, October 21 at 9 p.m. ET. The big winner was first-time nominee, newcomer Tauren Wells, who took home four awards, including Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year and New Artist of The Year. Superstar Zach Williams took home Artist of the Year. KB is set to perform as well as Anthony Brown & Group TherAPy with 1K Phew. (August 30, 2018) - The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announced the first round of all star performers for the 49th Annual GMA Dove Awards, set for October 16 at Lipscomb University's Allen Arena in Nashville. The event will feature performances by CCM standouts Big Daddy Weave, Cory Asbury and Tauren Wells and rising gospel star Koryn Hawthorne. There will also be a special collaboration by Dove Award winner Jason Crabb and superstar vocal group Rascal Flatts.

(August 8, 2018) - The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announced today the nominees for the 49th Annual GMA Dove Awards, revealed exclusively on Facebook Live with the help of Travis Greene and Francesca Battistelli. The awards show will take place on Tuesday, October 16, at Lipscomb University. Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) will exclusively air the show on Sunday, October 21. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 7, 2017) - The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announced that Nature Nate's Honey will be the presenting sponsor of the 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards. Nature Nate's has launched the Honey Gives Hope campaign and is partnering with the GMA Dove Awards to provide a grant for a family to adopt a child through Show Hope, a movement to care for orphans and restore hope by breaking down barriers between waiting children and loving families.
