CHOSEN ROAD RELEASES POWERFUL NEW SINGLE “YOU’VE ALREADY WON”

CHOSEN ROAD RELEASES POWERFUL NEW SINGLE “YOU’VE ALREADY WON”

NASHVILLE, TN (June 13, 2025) – Christian group Chosen Road releases their moving new single, “You’ve Already Won,” available everywhere. Listen HERE. The release comes on the heels of the band’s growing momentum in both the Christian and bluegrass spaces, including multiple Billboard #1s, where their blend of Appalachian instrumentation and gospel truth continues to resonate deeply with listeners.

“‘You’ve Already Won’ is a song that reminds us — no matter what battle we’re facing, the victory is already secured in Jesus,” shares Chosen Road founding member Jonathan Buckner. “We may not know how things will unfold in the moment, but we can rest in the promise that the war has already been won.”

The song first took on special meaning last fall when Chosen Road performed it live during Mountain Aid, a benefit concert the band hosted for Appalachian communities devastated by Hurricane Helene in 2024.

“In the room that night were people who had lost everything — homes, belongings, even loved ones,” Buckner continues. “Others came simply to show support and share love. That moment reminded us just how important this message is. As believers, we’re not fighting for victory — we’re fighting from it. And this song is our way of declaring that truth over every storm, every trial, and every heartache.”

Jerry Salley, Creative/A&R Director of Thoroughbred Records, congratulates the group on the release by stating, “Chosen Road has always brought an emotional punch to their brand of bluegrass gospel music. There’s a little ‘extra added’ on the new single. Their acoustic-driven, ‘live’ recording of the contemporary worship song, ‘You’ve Already Won’, is not only emotional but encouraging! Delivered in a simple way, reminding us we are not alone in our everyday struggles. Absolutely beautiful. I keep playing it over and over.”

The release follows a landmark season for Chosen Road, whose album It Never Gets Old debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Albums chart and earned widespread praise for its heartfelt storytelling and unwavering faith.

“You’ve Already Won” is now available on all digital streaming platforms.

NEW BOOK OFFERS BOLD VISION FOR UNITY IN A POST-DEI AMERICA

NEW BOOK OFFERS BOLD VISION FOR UNITY IN A POST-DEI AMERICA

Diversity without Discrimination by Dr. Carol Swain and Mike Towle Set for April 15 Release

NASHVILLE, TN (April 11, 2025) – As America attempts to turn the page on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs and affirmative action, a groundbreaking book arrives to guide the nation toward a future of unity and merit. Diversity without Discrimination: How to Promote a Culture of Unity in a Post-DEI/Affirmative Action World by Dr. Carol M. Swain and Mike Towle, with a foreword by renowned legal scholar Alan M. Dershowitz, will hit shelves on April 15, 2025. This release follows President Donald Trump’s historic executive orders on January 20-21, 2025, which eliminated DEI programs in federal agencies and ended six decades of affirmative action policies.

Originally released as The Adversity of Diversity in 2023, this updated new book reflects Swain’s prescient warning that the Supreme Court’s decision to end race-based college admissions would spell doom for DEI and affirmative action. Now, with a new preface, epilogue, title, subtitle, cover, and expanded insights, the book offers a bold vision for a post-DEI America. “This isn’t a time to mourn; it’s a time to celebrate,” Swain writes in the preface, hailing the return to nondiscrimination, equal opportunity, and merit as a reclamation of the Civil Rights Movement’s core principles—values she credits for her own rise from rural Virginia poverty to academic prominence.

Swain, an award-winning political scientist whose work has been cited by the U.S. Supreme Court, teams up with veteran author Mike Towle to present a compelling vision rooted in America’s motto, E Pluribus Unum (“out of many, one”). The book concludes with a practical plan for achieving REAL Unity—a program designed to foster inclusivity and collaboration in every American workplace without relying on discriminatory practices.

“America stands at a crossroads,” says Swain. “The end of DEI and affirmative action offers an opportunity to build a culture of unity that honors diversity while rejecting division. This book is a roadmap for that future.”

“I have been a huge Lee Ann Womack fan since I was a little girl and have always loved the song, ‘The Wrong Girl’,” shares Cox. “I’ve always wondered how it would sound as a bluegrass tune, and Jerry Salley, my producer, helped make that a reality. I had so much fun recording this, and I hope you enjoy listening to it, as well.”

Jerry Salley, A&R/creative director of Billy Blue Records, stated, “For as long as I have known her, Kristy has always had a keen sense of great songs and song selection. Co-written by two of Nashville’s top songwriters, Pat McLaughlin and Liz Rose, Kristy recognized that this simple, yet perfectly written song, resonates with every woman who sadly witnesses a man overlooking true love right in front of his eyes.”

BOB MINNER RELEASES REIMAGINED OSBORNE BROTHERS CLASSIC “LISTENING TO THE RAIN” FEATURING RHONDA VINCENT AND JOHN MEADOR

NASHVILLE, TN (March 25, 2025)  – Acclaimed musician and songwriter Bob Minner releases his latest single, “Listening to the Rain,” featuring Rhonda Vincent and John Meador. The track, premiering exclusively on Bluegrass Today, offers fans a fresh interpretation of the Don DeVaney-penned classic made famous by the Osborne Brothers. Listen to Minner’s rendition HERE

Reflecting on the inspiration behind the single, Minner shared, “My dad was an Osborne Brothers’ fan, and I remember their records being in the house when I was young. I had always heard “Listening to the Rain” in my head as a slowed-down ballad due to the nature of the lyric, and I finally have a chance to give it that treatment. It’s an honor to bring my reimagined version of this timeless bluegrass song to the world featuring two of the greatest voices in today’s bluegrass genre, Rhonda Vincent and John Meador.”

“Bob is not only a master musician. He is also a brilliant producer and arranger. When he first showed me his arrangement on this Osborne Brothers classic, I knew it was going to be something very special. His choice of pairing the voices of the legendary Rhonda Vincent and the incredible tenor of newcomer John Meador, has created a beautiful duet that is destined to become a classic itself. It is simply a stunning recording of a timeless song,” states Jerry Salley, Creative Director, Billy Blue Records.

Ronnie Reno, who played on the original Osborne Brothers recording, shared his thoughts on this new rendition, stating, “I played on the original recording of ‘Listening to the Rain’ with Bobby and Sonny in 1970. I love the new approach to this song, and it's wonderfully done. The vocals are outstanding. Bob’s production is outstanding. It's in the pocket and it's in time with your heart. I know Bobby and Sonny would be very proud of this recording.”

Minner’s “Listening to the Rain  follows the success of his award-winning song “Fall In Tennessee,” which earned nominations for Song of the Year, Collaborative Recording of the Year, and Music Video of the Year, ultimately winning the International Bluegrass Music Association's (IBMA) Song of the Year award in 2024.

With this new release, Minner continues to solidify his reputation as one of bluegrass’s most respected artists. Be sure to listen HERE now or on any major digital platform

There are too many miracles and mysteries in the deep to just splash around in the shallow waters of His greatness. Will you join me in pure earnest worship of our loving Heavenly Father? He is worthy and we need the relationship.”

Superstar Amy Grant, echoes this sentiment, saying, “In a culture of multi-tasking and distraction, “(More Than A) Hollow Hallelujah” is an earnest  invitation to be fully present to God, whose Presence is always with us."

Cece Winans, the incomparable, award-winning artist, also weighs in, saying, "The Isaacs are incredible!! I LOVE this song! It's my heart's cry that God deserves more! He deserves only our best - not just a hollow hallelujah."

"(More Than a) Hollow Hallelujah"  is available for digital and physical purchase, with the full album available to stream and buy here. Stay connected at https://www.theisaacs.com/ or follow the group on social media for the latest updates and announcements.

JOHN STRAND TO RELEASE ACTION-MEMOIR PATRIOT PLEA: A POLITICAL PRISONER’S FIGHT FOR FREEDOM AND JUSTICE

JOHN STRAND TO RELEASE ACTION-MEMOIR PATRIOT PLEA: A POLITICAL PRISONER’S FIGHT FOR FREEDOM AND JUSTICE

NASHVILLE, TN (Jan 9, 2025) – John Strand, artist and activist turned political prisoner is set to release his highly anticipated action-memoir Patriot Plea this February, including a foreword by Eric Metaxas and an afterword by Dr. Simone Gold. The book offers a firsthand account of the events surrounding January 6, 2021, and the aftermath that irrevocably reshaped Strand’s life. Following his conviction and a 32-month federal prison sentence, Patriot Plea, unpacks the personal consequences of political injustices.

With unwavering conviction, John Strand stands firm in asserting his sentence was a politically motivated ploy for actions he maintains were lawful and principled. “I know that I never had any mens rea or the criminal mind of any intention to break the law or act inappropriately at any point,” he states. “This is why I refused the government’s plea and why I continue to maintain my innocence as I pursue appeal of all convictions.”

The events of January 6 were a defining moment in U.S. history that not only impacted individuals like Strand but also now forces all Americans to confront issues of civil rights, injustice, and political overreach. Patriot Plea stands as Strand’s testament to his resilience in the face of adversity and his refusal to waver in his belief in truth and justice.
