The Electric Horseman, shown in homage to the legendary Robert Redford, who passed away last year. This 1979 classic stars Redford as a former rodeo champion turned reluctant advertising icon who embarks on a quiet rebellion, freeing a mistreated horse and rediscovering his sense of purpose along the way. The film is a heartfelt blend of romance, Americana, and social conscience—making it a perfect fit for an evening dedicated to dignity, compassion, and hope. Another interesting connection to the movie is the soundtrack. Hall of Fame songwriters Sharon Vaughn and Ed Bruce wrote "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys" and "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys" respectively
Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme by dressing in their best Western wear or “city slicker” style for a night that is equal parts fun, nostalgia, and impact. This iconic event sells out every year, so be sure to order tickets early.
