2017 Pacific Paddle Games Presented By Salt Life  Expands Exhibition Area With Fitness Zone, Demo Zone And More

DANA POINT, Calif. (August 28, 2017) - The 2017 Pacific Paddle Games presented by Salt Life will feature a $60,000 prize purse and expanded exhibition area, offering a variety of options for paddlers, as well as spectators and the general public. New for 2017, the PPG Fitness Zone will offer free yoga and exercise classes as well as exhibitions from the top fitness, yoga and dietary supplement brands. The PPG Demo Zone will be the largest hard goods demo in the sport with everything from the hottest boards to the newest paddles, connecting brands to paddlers of all skill levels. SUP paddle clinics for all experience levels will also be offered. 

In addition to the competition action, PPG Fitness Zone and PPG Demo Zone, the exhibition area will host food vendors and a beer garden on the beach complete with live music for attendees to enjoy the sights and sounds of Doheny State Beach. The 2017 Pacific Paddle Games will take place September 30 through October 1 at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California. For more information, visit www.ppg.supthemag.com.

Several Salt Life team members will compete, including Connor Baxter, April Zilg, Emmy Merrill and Colin McPhillips. "This year, we are taking the Pacific Paddle Games to a new level," said Salt Life President Jeff Stillwell. Registration is now open at http://ppg.supthemag.com/registration/. Early registration ends September 1, and the final deadline is September 15 for pro racers and September 22 for open racers. There will be no race day registration. The first 300 paddlers to register will receive a limited edition PPG towel. All competitors will receive a Salt Life waterproof dry bag, Custom PPG Croakies, PPG t-shirt, PPG hat, a one of a kind PPG race jersey and additional event partner product as well as a food voucher for lunch.
