Produced by Neil Thrasher and Patrick Thrasher featuring songs written by Gallaher and an array of award-winning Music Row songwriters, Ben Gallaher: Taylor Gold marks a return to the fast-rising star’s six-string roots.
Anchored by a blazing heartland acoustic rendition of Gallaher’s most-added country radio single “I’ll Take You” which he recently performed in-studio on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the seven-track project features acoustic re-imaginings of songs from Gallaher’s critically lauded sophomore album, Time, as well as one of his continuously highest-streamed working-class anthems, “Still a Few Cowboys Left.”
Gallaher co-wrote three of the seven tracks, including the project’s focus track, “Time.” A both wistful and uplifting ode to the unstoppable passage of time, this new acoustic version of the title track from Gallaher’s recent sophomore album is bookended by cheerful, toe-tapping acoustic guitar, poetic imagery and a sweeping chorus of acceptance of time’s endless march onward. It’s the type of heartfelt songwriting that landed Gallaher a multi-page spread in American Songwriter’s July / August 2026 issue.
The official performance music video for “Time (Taylor Gold)” will premiere on YouTube today at 11am CT / Noon ET. WATCH IT HERE.

From the jangling love-struck chords of just-released rousing earworm “Betcha Money (Taylor Gold)” to the swampy backwoods revival of the fiery viral hit “Stomp (Taylor Gold),” which embodies the sound and imagery of Academy Award-winning film Sinners, the upcoming Ben Gallaher: Taylor Gold acoustic collection features renditions of Gallaher’s most popular tracks to-date.
“Acoustic guitar was my first love and it’s what I’ve played the longest. I’ve played Taylor guitars specifically since 2011 and when I held my new Taylor Gold 514 for the first time, it just felt like home,” says Gallaher.
“That guitar had a heartbeat in it that wouldn’t let me put it down. It was full of untapped inspiration that I was discovering in real time. The more I played it, the more I wanted to reimagine and strip these songs down to their rawest, most organic form – and to create recordings that reflect how they sound when performed on my Taylor Gold guitar,” continues Gallaher.
With many of the new acoustic versions experienced only at his live shows – and some arrangements never heard before now – Ben Gallaher: Taylor Gold showcases Gallaher’s innate talent for melodic riffs and expressive solos that sets him apart from the pack, recently earning him a spot on Taste of Country’s “20 Best Guitarists in Country Music” (of all time) list.

About Ben Gallaher
Ben Gallaher clocks back in with melody-driven country music and heartland rock on his arena-ready sophomore album Time, available now and anchored by his new, country radio single “I’ll Take You,” which he recently performed in-studio on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Produced by Neil and Patrick Thrasher, the project showcases a self-taught, modern-day guitar hero whose high-energy riffs and anthemic songwriting have become his signature.
Raised in small-town Pennsylvania on the sounds of ’90s country greats like Brooks & Dunn, Tim McGraw, and BlackHawk, Gallaher hit the road as a teenager, launching a career that has taken him from club stages to national tours opening for Blake Shelton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Lee Brice, Brantley Gilbert, Tyler Farr, 3 Doors Down and more. That journey eventually led him to Nashville, where he established himself as a true triple threat: singer, songwriter, and standout lead guitarist.
In a city full of elite players, Gallaher’s melodic riffs and expressive solos set him apart, earning him a spot on Taste of Country’s list of the “20 Best Guitarists in Country Music” alongside heroes like Keith Urban, Vince Gill, Chet Atkins, and Brad Paisley. His viral “Stomp” guitar riff cemented his reputation, generating more than 60 million organic social views, inspiring over 10,000 fan-created videos, and drawing praise from artists including Peter Frampton and Kristin Chenoweth.
Gallaher has been named one of Taste of Country’s “RISERS: 2026 Artists to Watch,” a Country Now “Country Next” artist, an Ole Red “On the Rise” act, and critically-lauded by outlets including American Songwriter, Billboard, Country Line, Holler, People, Rolling Stone, Wide Open Country and more. Hailed as a “Top 5 Song You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone Country upon its release, “I’ll Take You,” transforms a heartfelt ballad into a driving, guitar-fueled anthem that is currently rising at U.S. Country Radio where it was recently the No. 3 Most Added Song out-of-the-box.
