DANA POINT, Calif. (July 13, 2017) – Lifestyle brand Salt Life will return as presenting sponsor for the 2017 Pacific Paddle Games, set for September 30 through October 1 at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California. This year’s event will have a $60,000 prize purse, the largest offered for any SUP event. New additions this year include a PPG Fitness Zone, offering a variety of clinics and classes for all levels of paddlers. PPG races will be streamed on SUP the Mag and Salt Life Facebook pages with extensive event coverage available on  

Registration is now open at Early registration ends September 1, and the final deadline is September 15 for pro racers and September 22 for open racers. There will be no race day registration. The first 300 paddlers to register will receive a limited edition PPG towel. All competitors will receive a Salt Life waterproof dry bag, Custom PPG Croakies, PPG t-shirt, PPG hat, a one of a kind PPG race jersey and additional event partner product as well as a food voucher for lunch.
