“Cost of Living” Out Friday

(August 22, 2025) — Chart-topping, award-winning bluegrass band Authentic Unlimited is back with their highly-anticipated new single, “Cost of Living,” releasing Friday, August 22, 2025. This is the first release with newly-minted lead singer Colton Baker, who takes the lead on this beautiful song. LINK HERE.
The song weaves a story that’s as personal as it is universal - capturing the weight of sacrifice, fleeting moments, and the price of pursuing a dream.

The release also marks the debut single of the newly-formed Edisonic Records, a Nashville-based label committed to roots-driven artistry and a division of Daywind Music Group (DMG). Authentic Unlimited will be the label’s cornerstone act as it builds for the future.
“We wanted to form a label whose identity is not based on a particular genre of music, but rather embraces and supports artists whose creative pursuits result in more expansive, cross-genre sounds at times,” says Ed Leonard, president of DMG. “I was given an opportunity years ago to direct the expansion of DMG, whose labels include Billy Blue Records and Billy Jam Records, and I wanted to give my son, Eddie Leonard, a passionate fan of traditional bluegrass, Americana, and progressive jam music, as well as a gifted marketer in the bluegrass space, the opportunity to do the same. His love for this music and significant experience in marketing will bode well for the artists fortunate enough to work with the label, which will be backed by the team at DMG and its long-term, indie-focused distribution relationship with the Orchard (Sony).
