MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (May 4, 2018) - Carolina Country Music Fest will partner with DAV (Disabled American Veterans) to honor 10 veterans at the festival in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, June 7-10, 2018. In addition to an all-expenses paid trip and VIP pass, each veteran will be matched with one of the performing artists, and all will be recognized on stage to receive the Victory for Veteran Award on Friday night, June 8.

“I’m very grateful to our friends at Carolina Country Music Fest who are helping us amplify our message of DAV’s commitment to service for veterans and their families,” said DAV National Commander Delphine Metcalf-Foster, an Army veteran of the Persian Gulf War. “Country music fans across the nation are very passionate and patriotic people and the festival is a great way to connect DAV to veterans who may need our help.”

In addition, Coors Light is offering members of the military from nine participating bases a chance to win a VIP trip to the 2018 Carolina Country Music Fest, including a three-day VIP pass, travel and accommodation. The winners will be recognized on stage on Saturday night, June 9. For more details, see official rules here.

President of Carolina Country Music Fest, Bob Durkin, added, “Through these partnerships with the DAV and Coors Light, we are able to give back to veterans and military who serve selflessly to protect our freedoms every day. It is an honor and a privilege to host them at CCMF and to recognize them on stage in front of thousands.”
