Lakelin's self-titled debut album showcases her growth as both a performer and as a songwriter. Lakelin, who turned 20 just last month, co-wrote 15 out of the 16 tracks on the album that was produced by award-winning songwriter/ producer Ash Bowers.

Lakelin’s debut album release marks another major milestone for the West Tennessee native, who continues to build momentum as one of country music's most exciting young artists. Blending traditional country roots with contemporary influences, Lakelin's music speaks directly to her generation while maintaining the authenticity that has become her trademark.
With the countdown officially underway, Lakelin Lemmings is positioned to be one of the most talked-about debut country albums of the summer.
The album’s focus track, “Bad Boy Good,” is a wisdom-filled modern country waltz about the timeless appeal of a bad boy, and the difficult lessons that some good girls take too long to learn. Expressing frustration and disappointment while also allowing healing to begin, the track balances full-throated, full-band declarations with quieter, acoustic-led moments.
Lakelin co-wrote “Bad Boy Good” with Ash Bowers (Matt Stell’s No. 1 “Prayed for You”) and Mike Mobley (Rascal Flatts’ Platinum-certified “Easy”). Bowers also produced the track.

Adding to the excitement, Lakelin heads across the pond for the first time for a string of shows in England, anchored by two performances at the Country Calling Music Festival on Kings Farm in Chelmsford on August 16, a show at FortyFive Vinyl in York on August 17 and at B: Music Symphony and as part of the Nashville Sounds in the Round: Country Calling Takeover in Birmingham on August 19. ABOUT LAKELIN LEMMINGS
When you hear Lakelin Lemmings sing for the first time, you can’t help but feel like you’ve been listening to her forever. The 20-year-old singer-songwriter from West Tennessee is utterly approachable, and undeniably herself. She’s the all-American girl next door, with big dreams and the talent to achieve them.
Born and raised in a musical family with her dad being an accomplished musician, Lakelin began singing at age six and grew up listening to icons like Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Loretta Lynn and Lee Ann Womack, along with today’s stars Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, alongside a heavy helping of Nineties pop. Lakelin signed her first Nashville publishing deal at just 17 years old and has since amassed more than 300,000 followers across her social platforms. Connection and communication with her audience is what drives Lakelin’s songwriting. On “American Dreamin’,” her first song released as a signed artist, Lakelin spells out all the things that shaped her: small towns, a supportive family, a dedication to faith and, of course, country music.
