Spencer Hatcher’s Official Music Video for “Hot Weather, Cold Beer” WORLD PREMIERES TODAY (8/7) on The Heartland Network and Heartland+ 6 pm ET / 5 pm CT
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 7, 2026) – Fast-rising QHMG/ Stone Country Records star Spencer Hatcher has partnered with The Heartland Network and Heartland+ to world premiere the official music video for his new song, “Hot Weather, Cold Beer,” just in time for backyard barbecues and lake weekends during the dog days of summer!
Hatcher’s “Hot Weather, Cold Beer” video will world premiere at the top of The Heartland Network’s Country Music Today episode, airing today (8/7) at 6pm ET / 5pm CT. The music video will also air throughout the weekend on The Heartland Network and can be watched on the Heartland+ app.
Directed by Jules Wortman and shot by Noah Johnson Media under producer Angela Wheeler, the video leans into the same authentic and unpretentious energy that has made Hatcher a fast-rising star.
Nashville’s weather cooperated for the shoot of “Hot Weather, Cold Beer.” The sweltering heat made for a perfect backdrop to be on the water of Old Hickory Lake on the outskirts of Nashville. With Hatcher’s band joining him on the banks and in his boat, the light-hearted visual compliments the lyric of the title track to his recent QHMG / Stone Country Records EP.
“When I say it was hot weather I mean it was HOT WEATHER!! It was 90 some degrees and the sun was blaring down on us, but we all had a ball,” says Hatcher of the video shoot day. “The video brings the song to life because it perfectly encapsulates the song and the lyrics. We’re all out there just partying and having fun in the sunny, hot weather and the cold beer was just as refreshing as it looked. The smiles were all real and all the actors were buddies of mine.”

About Spencer Hatcher
Stone Country Records’ Spencer Hatcher is a bluegrass-influenced country artist who was raised on a farm in the heartland of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. By the age of 11, Hatcher was already playing his five-string banjo in his family’s bluegrass band. In 2020, he formed his own country band, backed by younger brother Connor Hatcher, a bass prodigy and “blood harmony” supporting vocalist.
Dubbed the “String King” by his hometown newspaper and quickly developing a reputation across Virginia and neighboring states as an exciting live performer, Hatcher self-booked and played more than 150 shows a year in both 2023 and 2024, often setting venue attendance records. Hatcher has built a strong fan base, including nearly one million social media followers. On TikTok alone, the rising star has amassed over 72 million organic views and 8.7 million likes. This led to a high-profile partnership with PepsiCo, with Hatcher co-writing and performing a bluegrass jingle for a nationwide commercial for Mountain Dew Major Melon.
Hatcher’s debut EP, Honky Tonk Hideaway, features his steamy debut single, “When She Calls Me Cowboy,” which was a Top 10 Most Added Song at U.S. Country Radio (Mediabase) out-of-the-box. The single’s official music video reached No. 1 on Taste of Country’s fan-voted “Top 10 Video Countdown.” Saving Country Music has lauded the rising star as “one of the most promising up-and-coming voices in traditional country music.” Hatcher’s latest EP release, Hot Weather, Cold Beer, captures everything fans love about summertime country music, good friends, good times and living in the moment.
