VIC’S ITALIAN JAZZ BISTRO SET TO OPEN IN SYMPHONY PARK THIS SUMMER (early fall)

Set to open early fall 2022 in downtown Las Vegas, Vic’s is a sophisticated and intimate space to socialize, drink, and dine, while enjoying an unmatched level of service throughout the entire experience featuring legendary jazz acts, the award winning Las Vegas Academy Jazz Combo and a culinary and hospitality experience created by longtime Las Vegas restauranteur Mark Di Martino. Vic’s is a Lowden family business.

Live entertainment such as today’s top jazz artists, acoustic singer/songwriters and performances from Las Vegas Academy’s jazz students, will take place on the stage and acoustics designed by  Sam Berkow of SAI,  supported by a state-of-the-art Alcons Audio sound system, a Steinway A piano, and a Jeff Hamilton Mapex drum kit, of which only five in the world currently exist.

Vic’s menu will be Italian dominate showcasing an elevated blend of classic and modern dishes with such offerings as pastas, flatbreads, and small bites,  and will include lunch, dinner and a 24 hour menu, 7 days a week. Shortly after opening, Vic’s will be offering a one of a kind Saturday and Sunday Brunch service.

“At Vic’s, we plan to offer refined, yet unpretentious, dining and great live music, in an intimate setting” said Chris Lowden, “Whether coming in before or after a show, or just to enjoy a classic cocktail on the patio, Vic’s will bring back that old Vegas feel, with a modern twist.”

Offering respite from the busy Las Vegas Strip and located in Symphony Park, Vic’s is sure to be a favorite hotspot among locals and visitor alike. With a capacity of over 300, Vic’s spans 8,560 square feet and features richly appointed leather banquettes, a full-service bar and plenty of room for socializing and live entertainment. The sleek and sultry space with a retro chic vibe features dark walnut wood, tufted velvet, elegant fixtures, and striking accents. A 14-seat private dining room is just off the main floor, with views of the stage to enjoy the music.

The bar will include fifteen state of the art video gaming machines, and inside Vic’s, the restaurant is designated non-smoking with a separate, enclosed bar just for smokers. Connected to the bar is an incredible sports lounge with very comfortable seating, 10 TV’s and a fireplace. For those who want to enjoy dining and drinking al fresco, Vic’s offers two patios with one allocated for smoking cigarettes and/or cigars.

A 20-foot replica neon sign of Vegas Vic hangs over the entrance to welcome patrons as a nod to the legendary neon cowboy, Vegas Vic, who first appeared in 1947 as the unofficial mascot, welcoming visitors to Las Vegas with his friendly “Howdy, Podner!” greeting and a wave of his arm. Over the years, Vegas Vic went on to become not only one of the most recognizable characters representing Las Vegas, but a pop culture phenomenon, featured in everything from beer commercials to an episode of The Simpsons.
