NASHVILLE, TN (May 14, 2025) - Mandy Burnett’s talent has taken Nashville by storm. The Troy, Michigan native holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Entertainment Business from Indiana University, a Big Ten school—credentials that reflect her drive and passion for excellence in performance. And she’s just getting started.
When she’s not creating beauty at her haute Harper & Olive salon in Nashville, Tennessee, you’ll find her on the set of a Netflix series, styling for music videos, national television, photo shoots, galas, weddings, or even in a field of wildflowers celebrating a graduation. Her style, precision, and intuition shine through in every setting. Whether it’s hair styling (including extensions), eyelash enhancements, or artistic makeup application, Mandy’s growing résumé as a fashion consultant is one few in the industry can rival.
Her appetite for growth has led her to train at some of the most respected institutions across the country. She studied under Leonard Engelman—Governor of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Branch—at the Cinema Makeup School in Hollywood, California, where she learned special effects and character makeup techniques. After earning her certification, she continued her education at the highly accredited Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Upon relocating to Nashville, she became certified in Tennessee through a local cosmetology school. Ever committed to excellence, she continues to invest in ongoing training with some of today’s leading beauty educators.

As the first in Nashville to offer the now-popular beauty enhancement of eyelash extensions, Burnett quickly became one of the most in-demand stylists for wedding glam. She has styled over 1,500 weddings and has long been part of the exclusive hair and makeup team for Nashville’s largest bridal shows.
Now entering her third decade, the vibrant and polished Burnett has already traveled the world alongside some of the biggest names in entertainment. Her résumé includes touring with artists such as Mötley Crüe, Metallica, Megadeth, Dolly Parton, Dennis Quaid, Shania Twain, Jewel, John Rich, Dwayne Johnson, and many more. Fans of Kellie Pickler and Hayden Panettiere’s signature looks on the TV series Nashville have Burnett to thank.
Looking ahead, Burnett is preparing to expand her popular Harper & Olive salon beyond its flagship Nashville location. With a vision to maintain stellar service while mentoring and developing world-class stylists, her goal is to build a trusted, go-to team recognized across the country.
