“Turn This Town (Into a Honky Tonk)” follows a string of well-received releases from Hatcher, including “Any Other Girl,” which showcased his emotionally driven vocal style and classic country influences. The new release leans into the heartbreak-and-highway spirit that has become central to Hatcher’s growing identity as an artist, pairing small-town imagery with a driving country sound built for late nights and loud singalongs.
Once again, Hatcher enlists award-winning producers and songwriters for “Turn This Town (Into a Honky Tonk)” Jason Sellers, Ilya Toshinskiy, Mickey Jack Cones produced the track written by Spencer Hatcher, Connor Hatcher, Nathan Woodard and Tim Owens.
Known for blending bluegrass roots with modern country grit, Hatcher has quickly built a loyal fanbase through his powerful vocals, authentic storytelling and electrifying musicianship. Raised on a farm in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, the singer-songwriter has amassed nearly one million social media followers and over 60 million video views while earning a reputation as one of Nashville’s most exciting emerging traditional country artists.
“‘Turn This Town’ is one of those songs that feels real to me because everybody has had a place or memory they needed to get away from at some point,” says Hatcher. “It’s about chasing peace, moving forward and trying to outrun the ghosts that keep pulling you backward.”
Since signing with QHMG / Stone Country Records, Hatcher has been “taking the country music world by storm,” carving out his lane in the genre with a sound heavily influenced by legends like Keith Whitley, George Jones, Johnny Cash and Hank Williams Jr. says popular music site countryswag.com. His recent releases and live performances have positioned him as part of a growing movement bringing traditional country sounds back to the forefront of modern country music.
Produced with a radio-ready roots-forward energy, “Turn This Town (Into a Honky Tonk)” highlights Hatcher’s unmistakable vocal tone while delivering a relatable anthem for anyone who has ever needed a fresh start.
“Spencer has one of the most authentic voices in country music today,” says Benny Brown, Founder/ CEO of Quartz Hill Music Group. “He brings honesty, musicianship and conviction to everything he records, and ‘Turn This Town’ continues to prove why so many people are connecting with him.”

ABOUT SPENCER HATCHER
Stone Country Records’ Spencer Hatcher is a bluegrass-influenced country artist who was raised on a farm in the heartland of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. By the age of 11, he was already playing his five-string banjo in his family’s bluegrass band. In 2020, Hatcher formed his own country band, backed by younger brother Connor Hatcher, a bass prodigy and “blood harmony” supporting vocalist.
Dubbed the “String King” by his hometown newspaper and quickly developing a reputation across Virginia and neighboring states as an exciting live performer, Hatcher self-booked and played more than 150 shows a year in both 2023 and 2024, often setting venue attendance records.
Hatcher has built a strong fan base, including nearly one million social media followers. On TikTok alone, the rising star has amassed over 71 million organic views, 60 million video views and nearly 9 million likes. This led to a high-profile partnership with PepsiCo, with Hatcher co-writing and performing a bluegrass jingle for a nationwide commercial for Mountain Dew Major Melon.
Hatcher’s debut EP, Honky Tonk Hideaway, features his steamy debut single, “When She Calls Me Cowboy,” which was a Top 10 Most Added Song at U.S. Country Radio (Mediabase) out-of-the-box. The single’s official music video also reached No. 1 on Taste of Country’s fan-voted “Top 10 Video Countdown.” Hatcher’s latest release, “Love Button,” is a super-fun, honky-tonk party tune sure to make you smile. Saving Country Music has lauded the rising star as “one of the most promising up-and-coming voices in traditional country music.”
